I had so much fun with all of you loopy ewes last night! Ingrid, thanks so much for the sheep shirt. David did such an incredible job with the embroidery, and it is so awesome to see the sheep in the thread! I love it!!! I guess this logo means that we're official now!
I'm so glad that you all liked the munchies that I brought last night. Here are the recipes, courtesy of my sister, Nancy. Thanks Nancy!
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 T lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
Dashes of hot sauce (I did 4 dashes)
Mix all of the ingredients together and put into a small baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling. Serve with tortilla chips or pita chips.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup peanut butter (natural peanut butter doesn't work well in this recipe)
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together first 5 ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop tablespoon sized dollops of dough onto a cookie sheet. (I lined my cookie sheet with parchment paper. I'm an insecure baker!) Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
Good luck with your knitting projects! Dawn S, I feel your pain as I feel like I'm at the bottom of the enormous mountain that is my shawl. We'll get there, right? (Can't they postpone Mother's Day this year?) Dawn K, what does that little engine say? I think I can, I think I can. . .
