It seems that so many people can't make knitting on the 1st that it will be cancelled for the week!

Something Fishy is Going on Here!

Fishy Fishy in the sea...won't you do a swap with me!

That's right ladies. It's swap time again...can I get a Woo Hoo! We decided to get this swap underway. It will be due in July (the date to be determined!). The pattern can be found here.

We thought that something related to the swap or something you know your swappee will like would be the perfect touch to the gift! ♪ ♫ I'm leaving it all up to you..oo...oo. You decide what you wanna do. ♪ ♫ The price range is 7 to 10 dollars. Can you get a lobster dinner for that much??

If you email me by Saturday, I will have Tim draw names and match you with a partner and email everyone on Sunday.

Oh, but the fun doesn't stop there! The wrist warmer (leafy thing!) swap will follow. What a great way it will be to greet the fall weather as summer comes to an end.

I know, I know, more excitement than you can stand!

June 10th

June 10th will be at my house. I'm excited for those of you who can come to meet Dexter. He is just the sweetest dog ever (if I do say so myself!).

I should be getting home just in time to greet you all. If you are planning on coming and leave a post it will serve as a disclaimer that you will NOT notice that I have not cleaned up for company. I am swamped every day this week LOL! Ingrid, leave the white gloves at home LOL!

June 3 recap

Good evening ladies. I am posting a quick recap before I head off to bed! Judy I am glad you were up to coming over tonight. It was good to see you. Thanks for the rice krispie treats. They were soooo good!

Dawn L I am glad you stopped by. I hope the alpaca pulls through! I am sure you are sound asleep by now.

Wendy, the friendship cake will taste GREAT with my coffee tomorrow! I love Kate's new socks LOL!

Kari, I hope you and your new babies have a long life together. They will be an "egg"cellent addition to your family....yes, I crack myself up! Keep knitting away at those socks and they will be done by next week :)

Kathleen, the baby sweater you made is adorable! I may just try it in worsted weight myself. I really need to get a sweater set made for Tim's teacher QUICKLY!

We missed all of you who were unable to attend. I look forward to next week and to the chance to introduce you to Dexter. ☺☺☺ Let's hope he turns out to be a really good dog!

I am a bit late posting this, but thanks Dawn L for a fun time last week. Even with a couple of people not joining us it was a full house! It was nice to meet you Jenna (I hope I am spelling that correctly!).
