This is why I don't eat dinner on Wednesday nights :)

What a feast! I am always so full when knitting is over. Dawn the fruit was so yummy! Thanks for the brownies Wendy. I could have eaten several more. If I did that sweater certainly wouldn't fit me when I'm done! Judi the cheese and crackers were great. Oh, how I love nuts. You brought the good kind. I think next time I'll make a double batch of the dip :)

Dawn I just love the color of your dishcloth. It's funny watching you knit on straight needles :) I want to see the soap when you get it! How pretty that will be!

Wendy you are quite the sport knitting one of the email patterns. I hope you enjoy making it. When you are ready to kitchner let me know. I have some nice step by step directions. I have to chant them to myself in a QUIET house to do it properly LOL! Thanks again for the veggies. I'm so excited to eat them!

Judi, I've never seen you run out of yarn! That is a lovely blanket you are making. Is it for Henry? Congratulations to you by the way on your new grandson. We want to see pictures!

Kathleen we all hop the birthday girl had a wonderful day. We missed you but I suppose if you want to let your child come first we will let it slip...THIS TIME!

Ingrid, I hope you had a good dinner with your friends. We will missed you too!

I hope to keep plucking away at this sweater. I'm so NERVOUS about the size. If it doesn't fit I won't be eating snacks on Wednesday nights any more. Or, maybe I'll just eat the cucumbers.

Next week will be meeting at Judi's. See you all there!

take care,
Dawn

Some Bunny wants to meet you!

I whipped up this little bunny blanket this week. Britt's friend is having a baby in September and I am giving her this for her shower next month. It was so easy and fast to knit!!! Wendy you were right. There was MORE than enough yarn. I returned the yarn I bought that I didn't really care for and finished up the pink I had.
I wanted to let you know that Ingrid and I were at A.C. Moore yesterday and they have 14 oz skeins of cotton yarn for only $3.99. You can get about 4 market bags of one skein...and think of the dishcloths LOL!!!
I am offering my house for Wednesday night. If that sounds good let me know :)
I've started a sweater for myself finally!!! I'm looking forward to sharing what I've done so far.
take care,
Dawn K

Wednesday's Ramblings

Good evening ladies. Good thing it is summer or I would be too tired to write this. :)

Dawn thanks for hosting. It was quite lovely. I really LOVE that coat you shared. I can't wait to see it finished!!! It's gorgeous. What a terrific thing to be passed down to you.

Diane, what can I say except I am impressed with your talents. I hope to see a new hat on your head soon. Remember, the rabbit goes in the hole, around the tree, out of the hole and jumps away!!!

Wendy, I'm so glad you are joining us. I hope you get some time to work on your bag. Any time you want to come over and get a lesson on uploading your pictures just give me a call. I'd be happy to help.

Kathleen, do you still love me???? The worst part is over now. I'll be stalking Ravelry for the picture of the finished project.

Judy, it was really nice meeting you. I certainly hope we see you again!!! I posted the picture of the bunny in honor of you :)

That little bunny blanket is coming along quickly. Who knows I might even cast on that sweater for myself by next week :)

Ingrid and Judi we missed you tonight. I hope you both are enjoying your company.
Pam if you are reading this we REALLY REALLY REALLY miss you too! And we all hope you'll come back to us!!!

Where will we be meeting next week. I am available if you'd like to come here. Let me know.

take care,
Dawn
