It's Been Awhile!

Hello Loopies! Long time no see! Hope all has been well with you all! Knitting anything fun?

Thought I would quickly clean up the blog a bit and post to say "hello". Also, there's a yarn crawl coming up this weekend that I heard about that I thought I'd let you know about, if you didn't hear already. It's the first official Cape Cod Yarn Crawl that's taking place September 23, 24 and 25 with 6 local yarn stores participating. For more information, check out this website.

I miss seeing you guys! Maybe one of these days we can all get together. For old times' sake. ;)

Happy Knitting!
Kathleen

Hey Kathleen! Thanks for the update. I haven't been on the blog since 2010 (?)

Life is good :) I've been knitting a Guernsey wrap. I bought the pattern from Revelry and thanks to Dawn, who typed up a written patterned from the charted one, I'm doing good :) The yarn I'm using is the same yarn that Judi used when she was working on a shawl (that Kathleen so beautifully modeled!). I bought that yarn just a few weeks later and it's been sitting in my stash ever since.
I read about the Cape Cod Crawl. Anyone here doing it? We had reservations at Scusset this weekend for the Scallop Festival, but cancelled due to weather.

Family wise, we've added one more to the clan. Trent Alexander (grand baby #3) turned one on July 3. Emily just started kindergarten and Ryan is now 3. As far as my kiddo's go... David, Ashley and Elizabeth are all in college full time... so I'm hanging on to Shauna for as long as I can ;)

Anyone up for a Loopy reunion? I'm happy to host. Oct. 12? 6:00? Would love to catch up with everyone! email/call/fb me :)

Very impressive Ingrid. That Guernsey Wrap is a beatiful project! I hope to see the FO one day!

NO CC Yarn Crawl for me..I was interested in getting to Sage yarn and still am, but some days Falmouth seems really far!

Congrats on the newest addition Ingrid...with 3 grandchildren you will have little ones around for quite a while! Sounds like a lot of fun!

Hope everyone is doing well! I have heard about some big changes ;)!!
