I just wanted to pass on some sale information. There is a good sale going on at www.littleknits.com
(and I know how much we all need more yarn! :)

I'm not ordering any this time but I have ordered from them before - great customer service, prices, etc.

Oh, and.... the clear "Loopy" bags are in :) Very cute!!!!

Thank you Dawn for a wonderful time on Thursday night. It was a lovely evening and you did a great job! Wow, the food! There was so much of it! The weather was perfect. (Aren't you glad you didn't do it yesterday!) The people were friendly (as were the mosquito's LOL!).

Thanks for inviting us Loopy Ewes! I hope you've recovered from all that hard work.

A Hot Time at Ingrid's last night!

Thanks Ingrid for hosting last night! Thanks as well to Susan for the snacks!! It sure was a hot one!!! I think it was too hot for most of us to really knit. Pam you were on a roll with your booga bag! Judi the sock is looking great. Thanks for the books! Ingrid, I'm sure the next sock you make will not be even touched by a dog! Susan the sweater you are making is really nice. I am looking forward to seeing it finished! Dawnelle, I hope you aren't feeling too stressed about getting ready for tonight! I'm looking forward to your party. Oh, and your sweater is looking wonderful! Cathy we missed you!!! Kathleen we missed you too and you had all of our thoughts this week.

Boston Harbor

Ingrid and her beautiful photos prompted me to remember some pics Don took of Boston Harbor last Saturday while I was still tucked in and comfortable in bed!! I thought that they were so beautiful that I must share them! AND..by the way, I got lots of knitting and reading done on those two 12-14 hour sails!!

Hi from Acadia!

Just wanted to say 'hi' We're on the last leg of our vacation - The other family that we are with is leaving today & we are heading out early in the a.m. It is so beautiful here! We've been on the go from sun up to sun down every day since we've been here. There are some amazing hikes and the kayaking is great. (haven't seen one yarn store though :(

Cathy brought the yummiest treats last night and in such clever displays! Her kielbasa was so good and I don't even like kielbasa! The fruit kabobs were pretty good too. Cathy said she put them on skewers to represent knitting needles. And those nuts in the ice cream cones were outstanding. I especially liked the candied nuts!
