Loopy Ewe Blues

On the off chance that anyone is still reading this blog, I thought I might propose some new meeting ideas! For whatever reason, meeting at peoples homes seems to be getting more and more difficult. For that reason, I'd like to propose meeting at a public place (I have a couple of ideas that I am currently researching..Brewster Ladies Library and Harwich Community Center!) I think we can do this for free/very inexpensively, and it could be some place central. I am looking for input and ideas, so please chime in at your earliest convenience!!

Hey, Dawnelle, I think this might be a good thing to explore. It would be a little different than what we've become accustomed to, but at least no one would have to tidy up before. LOL! I'm curious to read what the other Loopy Ladies think.

Ok, I'll chime in ;)

I like meeting at people's homes. I think it's more comfortable than meeting somewhere else. I also think that we'd be more reserved at a public place (or not LOL!)
I guess to me it loses that relaxed atmosphere.

I'm sorry that I had to cancel last week. I honestly was just trying to save anyone from sharing my daughter's germs.

I think a good solution would be that if someone has to cancel (because life does happen) that a back up home can be called on. Between all of us that shouldn't be that difficult to do.

I'll probably be odd-man-out, but I didn't want to read and run ;)

Regardless, I'm happy to do whatever the majority decides. Thanks for posting this Dawnelle - I think it's something that we definitly should talk about :)

I haven't commented because
-I never write much on the blog
-I'd rather talk in person
-All my ideas are immediately shot
down anyway so I don't feel inclined to make suggestions anymore.

I am not trying to be rude. I'm just stating how I honestly feel.

Ingrid, I'm with you. I vote for a house. I am not inclined to go to a meeting place. It doesn't have as much of a welcoming feel to me!

Wendy thank you for your honest opinion. :)

I am always happy to use my house. Last time I wasn't able to because the superintendent of schools asked the K teachers to go to the school committee meeting. I couldn't really say "no, because I have knitting!"

I know that Ingrid is planning a trip and I would be happy to use my house this coming Wednesday (the 11th).

take care,
