I adapted the Apple Hat that Kathleen made and made this pumpkin hat. I made the leaves bigger and added some tendrils (that I crocheted). The model is Nancy Nurse. A doll I got in 1963. (Actually my doll has broken limbs...I picked this one up from ebay).
I want to make one more. I know two people having babies this fall :)

Dawn - The pumpkin hat is beautiful! You did an awesome job converting the apple to a pumpkin - the leaves are perfect and I love the tendrils! And tell Nancy Nurse that she is one fancy model! She still looks fantastic after all these years! Kathleen :-)
